About Sri Sri YogiBiswa
Sri Sri YogiBiswa is an accomplished yoga and wellness guru who has dedicated his life to transforming human consciousness through the timeless Technique of Natural Balance. A profound believer in the healing power of nature, he guides practitioners toward a life of sublime peace, physical health, and spiritual realization.
The Journey to Truth
Born in 1976 in Bihar to orthodox Brahmin parents, Sri Sri YogiBiswa exhibited the qualities of a great yogi from a remarkably early age. Rather than engaging in ordinary childhood pursuits or earthly pleasures, he was drawn to the “inner world,” choosing a solitary path to seek answers to life’s profound questions.
Driven by a quest for the ultimate truth, he left home with only 800 rupees in his pocket and traveled to Delhi. This period tested him immensely. Facing days with an empty stomach and no shelter, he transformed his hardships into deep spiritual strength. During this struggle for survival, he closely observed human behavior, realizing that internal negativity and a disconnection from nature were the root causes of all human suffering.
Mastery of Yoga and Wellness
Committed to his spiritual sadhana, Sri Sri YogiBiswa balanced his professional life with his spiritual practice. He established himself as a prominent yoga trainer and formalized his knowledge by earning an international degree in Yoga and Mantra Chanting in Rishikesh, Uttarakhand.
Today, he is a recognized authority in:
-
Hatha Yoga & Meditation: Utilizing traditional and self-discovered practices to heal physical and psychological ailments. His guided meditation sessions are renowned for tranquilizing the mind and settling deep-rooted imbalances.
-
Mantra Chanting: Using the profound vibrations of sacred sounds to reach and heal parts of the body and mind.
-
Corporate & Personal Wellness: Leading workshops on emotional detox, stress relief, and productivity, helping individuals navigate the complexities of modern life with calm focus.
The Eight Doctrines of Transformation
At the core of YogiBiswa’s teachings are eight doctrines designed to help practitioners live safely, happily, and in the present moment:
-
Feeling to Healing: Aligning with Mother Nature to clear negative mindsets.
-
Fear to Confidence: Overcoming inner fears to discover true individuality.
-
Ego to Compassion: Releasing the “I” to become a perfect, compassionate watcher of life.
-
Expectation to Goal: Doing one’s karma (duty) without expectation of return.
-
Attachment to Detachment: Engaging physically with the world while maintaining spiritual detachment.
-
Reaction to Reflection: Choosing watchful reflection over impulsive reactions.
-
Body to Mind: Recognizing the temporary nature of the physical form and the eternal truth of the mind.
-
Emotion to Love: Channeling mental impulses into a realization of eternal, compassionate love.
A Commitment to Humanity
Beyond his spiritual teachings, YogiBiswa is deeply committed to social upliftment. He is an active contributor to Sri Charan Ishu Maa, an annual initiative honoring the incredible sacrifices of hard-working, everyday mothers. Furthermore, he is heavily involved with the Durga children’s program in Kolkata, which supports orphaned girls by providing them with professional skills and the guidance needed to build futures full of dignity and independence.
“Live in the present moment only and not in the past or the future, as both are unreal.” — Sri Sri YogiBiswa
